Team Building at South Waters Lucena City

The planned Team Building of my team successfully happened last weekend at South Waters Lucena City. After our friday shift, we immediately jump up on our bus and go directly to the said venue. We did not enjoy the 6 hours trip since we just got out from the office and most are from the graveyard shift. We arrived there at 3pm then go directly to the assigned rooms and slept for about 3 hours just to gain more energy for the upcoming activities. I never thought that I would enjoy this Team Building organized by our team heads because of the reason that I am not that close to my officemates. But my thoughts were wrong. I did enjoy the moment with my officemates. The gaps between us disappeared. Slowly the team became bonded and became tighter and tighter. We played lots of games like Amazing Race, Doctor Help and American Football. We went to a nearby beach resort wherein you need to ride a boat first before you can reach their awesome resort! There I practiced skim boarding. I thought that it is an easy sport but I just made myself look silly with those moves that I can't really copy from my PRO friend. It was fun staying at a certain place with your officemates and you share ideas with them. My talent in playing musical instruments was challenged there. An officemate brought a guitar and the other brought a guitar and a beatbox. Since they are the one who are good in playing guitar, I played the beatbox. I never thought that I am good at it that some of my officemates gave an appreciation to me. Even on our way home, we played instruments inside the bus. Everybody is enjoying the team building. We all paid for it and we all enjoyed the moment with each other. I just hope that this same activity will be happening soon with my new team since we were shuffled and I was assigned to another team now. I have a remembrance from that resort, I had lots of itchy spots on my feet which I don't know where did I get. I suspect I got this from rolling on the grass or from the sea water. Luckily, some of this spots are gone now but still it keeps me scratching and scratching even at the office while I am talking to our clients. Can't share more of my experiences at our team building so I think its an end now. Lol.
