As you can see here in our country today, gangsterism is rampant in our country and a lot of youngsters are involved into this kind of activity. I have read a book before about this 13y/o kid who was sent to jail because he murdered somebody. But fortunately, that was not happened here in the Philippines but there in Chicago. The kid's reason why he killed that guy is that they both belong to a rival gang. A lot of Filipino's are involved also in gangsterism. Most of them are below of legal age. I was just wondering why do these people fight for the color they represent. There's this Bloods and Crips, Vice Lords and Black Gangster Desciples also MS 13 and 18th Street Gang. Well in the case of Filipinos, known gangs here are Bahala Na Gang, Sputnik, TBS, TST, OPG, PRM etc. and even Filipino's abroad do have gangs also. I admit that I myself was once then involved into this kind of activity but later on as time goes by, I was really wondering why do we need to fight. Why do we need to be beaten or be shot or be stab or worst be killed by someone from a rival gang? It came to the point that all I was thinking was my family, that if whatever may happen to me and when I will be keeping myself active with this kind of activity and something bad happens to me, they will surely lose a wonderful son and sibling like me. So as early as now, I don't wanna commit into this kind of activity anymore. Though I admit that it's hard but one thing is for sure, I have joined this so I know I can also escape from this. Before, the only thing that keeps on my mind is that I am not safe everytime I walk on the street at midnight. There's this thing that always bother me that sometimes, I keep on thinking that maybe some hustler is waiting for me on the next block or somebody might stab me at the back. For short, it's not always safe to go out of your house especially at night. Right now, I just want to leave a message for those who are involving themselves into gangsterism. "You better think of what will happen to you and your family before you will go hustle".

I just saw this video in YouTube about a baseball apparel that has a gang design. It was really a big deal for the people in the states because it can create chaos about street gangs specially Crips and Bloods. Most of the time, the only gang identification that you can see to this gang members are the bandanas hanged on the left or the right side depending on what gang they represent or other would put this bandana on their heads. Now, few designs of this caps are released on the stores all over New York but was asked to be stopped by the Police so that it wouldn't lead to gang wars. The Baseball Legue and the stores said that they would stop the production of this caps but on the video, it was said that the caps were still sold on some sports house in New York. As for me, it should be stopped so that it would not create a more chaos between the gangs in America.
