I have just got an email from Nokia about their latest update to the Ovi Maps. They are now offering Ovi Maps now for free to everyone who is using compatible Nokia phone. Unfortunately, mine is not compatible so I'm stuck in using the old Nokia Maps with non-navigable Philippine Map. Tagaytay Trip Was Fun!

Yesterday, when I went online, one of my Tisha's friend invited us to go hang out somewhere. Boredom caught us her attention and decided to meet up later that night. We planned of going to Tagaytay with some of their officemates to chill out and to inhale some prescious fresh air. We went asleep for more than how many hours until somebody called us over the phone. It was Tisha's girl friend who's looking for us because we're about to leave. I was suppose to be the driver but good thing, one of the girls knows how to drive. The owner of the car does know how but she's not too experienced when it comes to expressways. It was a fun trip at all and the thrilling part of it is that none of us knows how to get there in Tagaytay. Luckily, I decided to browse Google Maps earlier that day for some directions. Thanks Google Maps! We arrived there maybe after 2 hours but got nowhere to go to. We ended up going to this bar called Knuckles who has an R&B playing live band. Ordered one bucket of beer and then went outside because none of the girls appreciated the songs they played. Well, we decided to just hang around outside the Starbucks Coffee Shop 'coz their closed. I really had fun going to Tagaytay even though we went there during night time. The sky is clear and Tisha had fun staring at them while we're travelling and when we got there. We had fun taking pictures, chit-chat and most of all, their guy friend who got drunk in an estimated 2 bottles of beer. Weak! Anyway, my first time in Tagaytay was really fun at all but I think, I would appreciate it more if we get there during day time.

Help me decide

I only have few more hours to celebrate the Valentine's Day with my girlfriend and still doesn't have any idea on how to make it perfect love day for her. The fact that I'm in a tight budget now caused me frustration and disappointment. I'll have to come up of an idea that can make this day very memorable for me and my girlfriend. At first, we planned of going to Tagaytay or to the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Clark Airbase Pampanga but the problem is we both really have a hectic schedule. That plan was cancelled. Next, a dinner date with her. We both agreed to the idea and I think this will be the final plan. The problem is I don't know where to take her. Its my girlfriend who knows lots of fancy restaurants. If she's gonna ask me where to go, I'd prefer Yaki Mix! But no, that doesn't sound so romantic. Going to an eat all you can buffet is not a good idea. Until now I'm still wondering where to go this day. I'm now asking my friends for some advices and help. I hope this day won't end up to be a mess. Wish me luck!

I was blog hopping last week when I was at work since we don't have much of work loads. I was reading my feed subscriptions in Google Reader and noticed this new blog entry from Batang Yagit. Batang Yagit to those who doesn't know, is one of the most read blog in the Philippines. Going back to the post I mentioned, its all about a Christmas Gift that Batang Yagit will be giving out to his readers. New Firmware For Nokia's Ex-Flagship Phones N95 and N82

Nokia recently announce the latest firmware updates that they'll be releasing for their ex-flagships N-series phones. I have been waiting for an update since the V31 for my N82 and was glad about this upcoming updates. At first, I thought it would just be the N95 who's lucky to have an update but when I dig in over the web, I found out that even my N82 will have a brand new update to V35. I haven't updated my phone actually to V31 since I don't want to hack it again to install unsigned applications to mobile phone. Its not that I don't know how to do it, its just that I am tired of doing it and I don't have my own computer to install the NSU.

The past few weeks, I have been longing for an update to my N82 maybe because I'm tired of the V22 on my phone. With this brand new update, V35, I will make sure that I'm gonna have this update on my phone. I hope this new update will fix some minor issues on my N82. I'm still waiting for some elite hackers who can be able to reverse engineer this new firmware update of Nokia's ex-flagship phones N95 and N82. I will update soon once I found some hack for the V35!

Jelly Lens -- Mobile Phone Camera Lens

Few weeks before, I have been continuing my search of a lens for my mobile phone's camera. Been wanting to have one since I'm into photography too. There's a lot of option available over the internet but I don't have credit card to buy them online. And those lenses are only available overseas. So, that's gonna cost me the price of the product plus the shipping fee. I'm done with the local malls. A forum member at Symbianize once told me that there's an available Optical Lens for Mobile Phone in Mall of Asia. I went there and find the store but didn't have any luck at all. Then I went back online to find some lens again.

Searched at Google about "Lens for N82" and it gave me a lot of results. Then one result struck me saying Jelly Lens for your Mobile Phone and Camera. I checked on it and I thought that its cool. Its a fancy little lens that you have to mount at the lens of your mobile phone. You can even use this on your camera phone. I bought 4 Jelly lenses at a local mall. One is for Macro, the other one is for Fish Eye, the third one is for Spark and the last one is Polarizer. I am really enjoying the Macro lens and the Fish Eye lens. I was so amazed that this fancy little lens can be able to satisfy my need. The Fish Eye is good for lomography too. The only con that I have noticed is that the jelly loses its stickiness fast and also, it doesn't fit that good in the lens of my N82 phone. I'm so jealous with my friend's phone because my lens fits well on their phone. So I'm planning to buy a low-end mobile phone but have a good camera for me to use the lens on them. I already have a sample shots in my Facebook account.

Dumb - Dummy Man

This day is really frustrating for me. I messed up a lot with my girlfriend. My girlfriend got her pay yesterday with her 13th month bonus. She want her money to be in one of my ATM because she really had a bad experience with her current ATM provider. So I agreed to that and we went to the bank. Deposited all of the money and then went out the bank. My girlfriend decided to go to a mall to look for a dress and a shoe for her party next week. We are all set but when I was about to withdraw money from the ATM, I forgot the PIN of that card. I punched in 3 different PIN but the machine doesn't seem to accept it. I was so frustrated and also my girlfriend. We went to the bank and the bank just told us that they can't do anything about it. They can't give me my correct PIN and can't even allow me to do withdrawals over the counter. Its so frustrating thinking that we don't have enough time to go back to the mall and do some shopping chores for my girlfriend. Since the bank can't do anything about it, we too can't do nothing about it. I'm so upset and felt sorry for my girlfriend. It was all my fault. She got mad at me. Real mad. So we both decided to just go back home since we have 24hours wait time to access the ATM card again. Hoping that tomorrow will be a success for this ATM card.

When we got home, we just go all the way to the bed and sleep since we both came from our shifts. We woke up late at night and was very hungry. We decided to go to a nearby food chain, Chowking, and ordered some meals to satisfy our cravings. I asked the attendant to put our drinks in a disposable cup. We had our order and we ate. I noticed that the cup doesn't have a lid so I asked for it to the waiter. The waiter gave it and when I put on the lid to the cup, the cup broke and the drink flooded the whole table. I wonder why am I so dumb this day that other people are suffering of my dumbness. Good thing, was my girlfriend understand me and was very patient to me. I am the luckiest guy in the world thinking that I have the cutest and the loveliest girlfriend in the world.

Where to stay in Davao?

I'm all set to travel to Davao next week with my girlfriend and her family. The problem is where to stay. I actually grew up in Davao but our old house is being rented by somebody and I don't want to barge in to my aunt's crib. She might be surprised that I'm there sitting on their couch watching TV. So now, I'm planning to check in to some cheap inns in Davao City together with my girlfriend's Tito. I already got a list of them but I just don't know if they are quality inns. At least this names are not on the list of those "biglang-liko" inns/motels in Cabaguio. I think I'll have to research more about this because I don't wanna get there spending doughs to some cheap ass inns. My New BP-6MT

For over how months, I have been sacrificing with my battery's performance. The life of my battery didn't reach for over a year but I think that it is just normal with the way I use it. I take pictures a lot, play music a lot, use wLan almost everyday and play with my GPS when travelling. While doing those chores, my phone is plugged in to its charger that triggered its performance specially when getting online. Then, I noticed that my phone keeps shutting off because of "Battery Empty" message. I really hated it because it caused me trouble specially when I'm having calls. Then, I will have to carry my USB Charger everyday to the office to charge up my battery. Now I realized that charging battery in an abnormal way is not healthy at all. It doesn' really help your battery performing well. I know what are the pros and cons when charging my battery even if its not empty its just that I'm an OC with my battery life. I always make sure that it is full barred every day. When one is missing, I will then charge it even if its not empty. I don't know. I've been doing this since I first got my first phone (3310 era). Just this afternoon, I bought a brand new battery, BP-6MT, for my N82 phone and I will always make sure that its emptied first before charging it up. With that, you're not gonna damage your charger and you're gonna have fun doing your chores with your mobile phone. This should be working fine after 6 months because beyond that, its not gonna be covered with its warranty. Good luck to me!

Days Are Being Counted For Nokia's N-Gage

When I first got my N82, I was so happy that there's a built in N-gage application in it. I made ways to get updates on the games and to download the latest games that N-gage will release. One of the best is the "One", my all time favorite. But this doesn't seem to work at all. I just heard some rumors that the N-gage gaming platform of Nokia will soon be closed.

What I like more in N-gage is that its bundled with my phone. No need for me to bring any additional gadget just to pacify me when I'm out waiting for nothing. But it seems that the Market is not that fund of playing N-gage games. Classic games has been released by N-gage like Worms World Party but competitors like PSP, Gameboy, Nintendo and other portable devices are still on top in the industry. The only problem with N-gage is that there's no way for you to transfer the your paid content to a different device.

What I heard is that it will soon close on September 2010, after how many years of service.

Decision making in my Career

For how many days now, my mind is being bugged by random thoughts and ideas. Then came to a point when I thought of my future. What's gonna happen to me on the next several years? Am I gonna be staying in this industry or I'll have to pursue my dream to join the service. I keep on thinking about it. I don't see any growth when I'll be staying here. But I'll have to work for me to survive. What I was thinking is that I should go back to the path where I see a brighter future.

My father is serving the Armed Forces and I would love to join the service too. I do really want to join the Armed Forces when I was still in college. I got a chance to apply after I graduated but I failed the Pyshological Test which is the second to the last step to get me hired. Hmm. Wondering why. Am I a psycho or something?! Lol. Hell no! A friend who failed the same examination got himself into the training because he has a backer. But with me, I didn't want my father's help to join the service because I want to prove that I can do it on my own. I'm getting older and older and still I can't decide whether I will have to go back to the Navy or stay in my current job. To be fair, I am actually enjoying my job now its just that I don't have that normal life anymore. I'm a nocturnal guy when I got myself into this industry. I already know the trends here though and I made myself ready for this one. But I got tired of being a call center agent. I want a normal life. I want to experience a normal sleep of a normal homo sapien.

I do really want to join the Navy since day one. I made sure that I'm equipped to apply and join the training and all that. I think this decision is final. I will go back to the Navy base here in Manila and re-apply. And this time, I will do good in their exams.

Lazy Ass Bastard!

Yesterday, when I'm about to go back home from work, my girlfriend texted me that we'll meet somewhere in New City Restaurant, in Kalayaan, Quezon City. Her brother was there and also her officemates. It was a whole day of eating yesterday because after we ate at New City Restaurant, we went home and at lunch, we headed to Sampaloc, Manila because my girlfriend's friend is celebrating her birthday. I didn't really had enough time to sleep. We were done with her friend until 5PM then when we got back home, I went sleeping and woke up 7PM to prepare to go to work. I woke up my girlfriend too, because she had a schedule again with her Mom and some friends. I dropped her to the place and when we got there, I was so tempted with the foods they were eating. My girlfriend gave me an option to stay or go to work. Of course, I choose food. LOL. Nah, just joking. I told her that I'll have to go to work coz I don't want to have an additional infractions for my attendance again. I'm almost late and yeah, I am really late when I arrived at the office. But yeah, I'm so damn tempted with the foods. And until now, even here in the office, I'm still craving for those foods. Its like I was stoned to death because I chose the wrong option my girlfriend gave me. Well, I think there's still a next time for those foods. I can still have some time to eat with my girlfriend. I'm at work now and so tired and sleepy. Doesn't have the aura of being perky. Wish I can sleep well after this shit. Oh! I mean shift.

Two Long Weekends for the Month of November!

President Arroyo recently announced two long weekends for November. The first long weekend will be on the first week of November. The dates will be on October 31 (Saturday) to November 2 (Monday). November 1, All Saints' Day and November 2, All Souls' Day, are special non-working holidays. The second long weekend is a four-day weekend from November 27 (Friday) to November 30 (Monday). The first two days, November 27 and 28, is a declared non-working holidays in observance of Eid'l Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice, held by our brother Muslims after the annual pilgrimage to Mecca. And on Monday, on that second long weekend, is a regular non-working holiday in celebration of the Bonifactio Day. This dates are gonna be a very exciting dates for me since this are the days that we call "Double Pay". I'm actually planning to talk to my supervisor to change my day off so that I have shifts on this dates. Greed! Well, you can't blame me because we all need money for us to survive. Lame reason but I think this'll work. Ciao!

Ramil, a powerul vibrator!

Something weird happened when I was at the office taking in calls. I am aware of the storm coming over to the Philippines. I even got soaked in the heavy rain while I'm on my way to work. Never in my life that I experienced a very powerful thunder that can make a building vibrate. Its as if Japanese bombarding Hawaii from the movie "Pearl Harbor". My station was shaking and the only thing that I can do is to stare at my officemates and smile. Hehe. I was thinking that maybe the typhoon Ramil with International name "Lupit" is a lot more scarier than the typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng. I just hope that what happened before won't be happening again. That was really a traumatizing event that has been stored to the memory of every citizen in Luzon. God bless our country!

I first noticed it when I went to topblogs.com.ph to check for my status and then went to the humor category and I was wondering why the Number 1 Pinoy Blog in Humor category is now gone. Went to their blog and seen the evidences. The previous posts are now gone and been deleted. All the addendums, the panday rules, the trabaho lang rules and other crazy shits are now gone. Will be missing them guys so much and hope that they will be back soon. Me and my girlfriend have been reading their blog for how many months now and was really upset about what had happened.
